How will athletes travel to tournaments?
There is no set transportation for athletes who are members of SPT, per the SPT Transportation Policy. Carpooling is allowed, but SPT is not responsible for any travel expenses to and from tournaments. Furthermore, the SPT and HOA Volleyball Association are not liable for travel to and from tournaments.
Should an athlete take part in multiple sports in the same season?
Absolutely! Multi-sport athletes are some of the most highly recruited athletes. Please be sure to inform your school coach that are you taking part in a club organization, but by all means SPT wants you to take part in your school related activities as well. Keep in mind, a "sport within a sport" is not allowed within the state of Kansas. Example: athletes cannot take part in a club volleyball organization at the same time they are playing volleyball for their junior high or high school.
